OUR GOAL
We aim to simplify launching old Minecraft versions on both modern and retro hardware! BackLauncher isn't just a program; it's a bridge to 2010.
BackLauncher v1.0 PRO
The main project is our launcher, supporting all surviving versions of Minecraft. A large portion of these versions was sourced from Omniarchive archives, special thanks to them!
Our software fixes game crashes, missing audio, skin issues, and authentication problems. We create an environment where legacy code runs stably on Windows 10 and 11.
Project Future
The developer (ARTKKURS) is currently preparing for IT college, so BackLauncher is constantly updated. We plan to make the interface even more intuitive and add support for custom modpacks.
OUR SERVER
We host a vanilla server on Beta 1.7.3. It is a place where players can build together using classic mechanics.
Economy: We have abandoned currency systems. The server thrives on barter trade. Want diamonds? Offer a stack of iron or a rare build!
Claims: The server uses a manual claim system via staff. We only protect territories where you have actually built something.
How to join: Server address — old.mc.akkpwr.com. You will need a license or our launcher with the fixed authentication method.
COMMUNITY
The main gathering place is our AKKPOWERED COMMUNITY. There you can share screenshots of your builds, report bugs, or just chat with other old-school fans.
